We are proud to announce the return of the Vampires to Cefn Fforest Miners’ Institute for a fund-raising gig on 24th April 2026.
The Vampires are a link to the past of the venue, having played the Institute when it was in its heyday back in the 1960s. The band, featuring Cefn Fforest boy Robert Ovens, are still going strong and have been keen to play for us since before we reopened.
To compliment their selection of hits from the sixties and seventies, DJ Kelvin will be dusting off some tunes from from that era to keep you doing ‘the twist’ all night.
