Cefn Fforest Miners’ proudly presents an evening with one of Britain’s best-loved entertainers, award-winning actor, comedian, musician and national treasure Ricky Tomlinson.

Hosted by Asa Murphy, creator of the hit musical Irish Annies, the event promises a night full of funny and heart-warming stories and plenty of laughter.

You’ll hear Ricky share tales from his early life, behind-the-scenes moments from his remarkable acting career, and personal memories that will make you laugh out loud one moment and touch your heart the next.

Ricky’s career includes starring in Channel 4 Soap-opera Brookside, the multi-award-winning sitcom The Royle Family and movies such as Mike Bassett England Manager.

Ricky is also a life long trade-unionist, political activist and campaigner against the practice of ‘blacklisting’ of workers. His Autobiography
