All Mod Cons, one of South Wales leading mod covers bands, will be playing our official opening party on 10th January 2025.
After six years of hard slog, our beloved Miners’ Institute is finally open for business. We have already hosted a pantomime and there are several events lined up before Christmas, but our ‘official’ launch party will take place on 10th January, Porthcawl based band All Mod Cons, will be providing the entertainment, together with legendary Soul DJ Nigel Graham
All Mod Cons played a fund raiser for us back in March 2024 and had the dancefloor shaking. Tickets are already flying out and the event is likely to sell out in advance, so please gram them now to avoid disappointment.
