All Mod Cons, one of South Wales leading mod covers bands, will be playing a fundraising gig for the Stute on 8th March 2024
The event will once again be hosted by The Blue Club, on Twynyffald Road – just behind the Stute.
All Mod Cons are a mod, pop, 60’s band. They play a range of covers, including Blondie, The kinks and more.
Special guest for the night will be DJ Nigel Graham, who is probably Wales top Northern Soul DJ and has run the souls nights in Porthcawl, Stoneleigh, Manor Suite, Pavillion etc, since the early 1980’s. Nigel will be playing a mixed set of Soul, Ska, Reggae and all things 60s and 70s
We will also be holding a raffle and auction on the night
Tickets for the night are £8 and can be picked up behind the bar in The Dagger, off one of our trustees, or by e-mailing us at cefnfforestminers@yahoo.com . There will only be 120 tickets available and we expect the event to sell out in advance.
All profits from the event will go towards our project to restore Cefn Fforest Miners’ Institute and bring it back into public use as a community hub.
